A Trip to Durango

Last weekend my family made a quick trip to Durango, CO for my sister-in-law's wedding.

My son was part of the wedding party. (He's on the left.)

While we were in Durango we took a few minutes to enjoy some of the scenery.  According to Durango Outdoors, these are Mule Deer.

We also walked around Historic Downtown Durango and did some shopping.

Although it was a quick trip, we really enjoyed our time at Durango.

  1. Nice trip! Durango is the best, I love snowboarding at Purgatory. I have been to Durango 5 times and enjoy it every time i go. Down town Durango is nice to wander and feels similar to Flagstaff. I'm sure the weather was starting to get cold. Every time i go there its for snowboarding and its always so cold.

  2. I've only been to Durango twice now, I always enjoyed my time there with my family. But I never been there in the Winter yet I've seen snow on the peaks In the Summer. Anyways it's like Flagstaff but smaller and it's a nice place to visit.

  3. I went to Durango and Pagosa Springs around this time last year. It was my first trip to Colorado. I found it to be absolutely beautiful and fell in love. We stopped the Strater Hotel to take a look and took pictures. They have a lot of neat things in there. Did you have a chance to check it out just for fun?
